Songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist Jack Bruce is best known for the songs he penned for Cream, the legendary blues rock trio he formed with Ginger Baker and Eric Clapton in July 1966. Baker and Bruce played together for five years before Clapton joined them and though they only remained together until November 1968 they are credited with changing the face of Rock n Roll and bringing blues to a worldwide audience. Following the split of Cream, Bruce formed Jack Bruce and Friends with drummer Mitch Mitchell and Larry Coryell. This DVD captures their 1980s concerts filmed at the Rockpalast in Essen, Germany. This concert also features drummer Billy Cobham, David Sancious on Keyboards, and Clem Clempson, formerly of Humble Pie, on guitar. This classic 90-minute concert is a superb collectors edition for fans of Blues, Jazz and Rock 'n' Roll. Tracks Include: White Room; Hit and Run; Running Back; Theme for an Imaginary Western, X Marks the Spot; Out to Lunch; Living Without You; Politician; Sunshine of Your Love; N.S.U.
