Pilot: The Protectors - A new police program has been formed to quickly move recruits onto the streets. And veteran cop Sergeant T.J. Hooker, still coping with his recent divorce and the fatal shooting of his partner, has been chosen to get the job done.
Episode 1: The Streets - Hooker and rookie partner Romano reluctantly escort a television newswoman who is doing a story on a mugger who leaves a Bible at the scene of his crimes.
Episode 2: God Bless The Child - A classmate of Hooker's daughter is found dead at school, an apparent suicide. But Hooker believes she was shot full of drugs and pushed off the roof - and he's determined to find out who did it.
Episode 3: Hooker's War - The cops go on the trail of the former members of a biker gang, who now deal in illegal firearms.
