Based on historic facts, anecdotes and real-life accounts from his ten-year battle for justice, this is the grand tale of Mexico's famed revolutionary hero: Emiliano Zapata. The story begins in 1910 when Emiliano Zapata worked as Horse Master in the house of Ignacio de la Torre y Mier, son-in-law of the dictator Porfirio Diaz. Emiliano is also deeply in love with Rosa Rendon, daughter of a rich landowner of English descent. their relationship faces obstacles time and again as both lovers realize their love cannot be. Although this amorous episode is not based on true historic facts from Emiliano's life, it does paint a more human perspective and a glimpse into this fiery, passionate character.
